Raw · Unperfumed · One Length, Done Right

One length. Rolled true,
dried to spec.

Working out of Chennaimalai, Tamil Nadu, we manufacture raw agarbatti in bulk — bamboo core, machine-rolled masala, machine-dried and graded — for perfumers, dippers, and repacking units who finish the fragrance downstream. Every stick that leaves our floor is 9 inches, made the same way, batch after batch.

How a raw stick is made

From split bamboo to a graded bundle.

Raw agarbatti leaves our floor unscented and uncoloured — the base that perfumers and dipping units build on. Every batch moves through the same six stages, in the same order, before it's weighed for dispatch.

01

Bamboo selection

Round bamboo sticks are sourced, split to gauge, and seasoned to reduce moisture before they're fed to the rolling floor — uneven bamboo is set aside before it reaches the paste.

02

Masala preparation

Charcoal powder, jigat (adhesive) powder, and water are worked into a rolling paste in small batches, mixed to a consistency that holds on the stick without cracking as it dries.

03

Machine rolling

Rolling machines apply the masala at a fixed rate along a 9-inch bamboo core, leaving a bare bamboo grip at the base and an even coat along the length — the same gauge, stick after stick.

04

Machine drying

Rolled sticks pass through temperature-controlled drying chambers on a fixed cycle, so moisture leaves evenly regardless of the weather outside, and the coating doesn't bow or split.

05

Grading

Dried sticks are sorted by length, weight, and straightness; anything under-coated or warped is pulled before bundling.

06

Bulk packing

Graded sticks are bundled and packed into poly-lined bags at agreed weights, ready for dipping, perfuming, or private-label finishing.

Specification sheet

One stick, held to spec.

We manufacture a single standard length. That focus is what keeps the gauge, coat weight, and drying cycle consistent from one bag to the next.

Supplied raw — no fragrance, colour, or dip coating applied. Minimum order quantities and lead times are confirmed directly, based on current rolling load.

On the floor

What we hold constant, batch to batch.

Consistency in a raw stick shows up later — in how evenly it takes a dip, and how few break in transit. These are the checks we run before anything is bagged.

CHECK — DIAMETER

Even gauge

Sample sticks from each rolling batch are checked against gauge to keep dip absorption consistent across a bag.

CHECK — MOISTURE

Controlled drying

Every batch runs the same temperature and time cycle through the drying chamber, so results don't drift with the weather outside.

CHECK — WEIGHT

Accurate bagging

Bags are weighed at packing and re-checked at dispatch, so the kilogram count on the label is the count you receive.
